Member Benefits Plan

TDTone Weekly Rewards Programme:

Commission is calculated at the end of every calendar week. The bank transfer instructions for your commission will be at best effort sent to the bank by the 4th business day* of the next week. Your commission will then be banked into the bank account you have earlier registered with us via SMS or through our Member Login area. Please note that commission payment will only be made if and when it reaches an accumulated amount of RM100 (after deduction of SMS expenses and prevailing bank transfer charges) because there is a RM5 service charge levied by the banks to you.
*OTSB makes no explicit or implicit warranty on the date that the transaction will arrive at Member’s bank account, including but not limited to incorrect account information, holidays, banking delays etc.

Any new member who participates in TDTone Weekly Rewards Programme will be termed as SuperStarter if member registers (pre-registers) and top-up in the same calendar week (e.g. member pre-registers on Saturday, 29th March 2008 and top-up on Sunday, 30th March 2008). TDTone Weekly SuperStarter contributes to their immediate Upline (Level 1) only at 50% in Week 1.:
Level 1 – 50% (You are entitled to 50% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)

From Week 2 onwards, member will contribute to 8 Levels (as depicted in the sample member benefits plans illustrated in the Member Benefits Plan section). Contribution to Level 1 is 5%, Level 2 is 5%, Level 3 is 12%, Level 4 is 12%, Level 5 is 12%, Level 6 is 2%, Level 7 is 1% and Level 8 is 1%.

Commission is calculated based on the levels of downlines you have within your group. In order to enjoy N levels of commission, you must have N direct downlines (not applicable to SuperStarter contribution). E.g. a member must have 3 immediate downlines to enjoy up till 3 levels of bonus calculation, 5 immediate downlines for 5 levels, so on and so forth until maximum 8 levels. Commission is calculated up to 8 levels of downlines using the following percentages:

Level 1 – 5% (You are entitled to 5% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 2 – 5% (You are entitled to 5% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 3 – 12% (You are entitled to 12% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 4 – 12% (You are entitled to 12% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 5 – 12% (You are entitled to 12% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 6 – 2% (You are entitled to 2% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 7 - 1% (You are entitled to 1% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Level 8 – 1% (You are entitled to 1% bonus of all your downline’s usages at this level)
Note: Any new member who participates in TDTone Weekly Rewards Programme will not be termed as SuperStarter if member registers (pre-registers) and top-up in different calendar weeks (e.g. member pre-registers on Saturday, 29th March 2008 and top-up on Monday, 31st March 2008). Non-SuperStarter will contribute to 8 levels of Upline immediately, as above.
In general up to 50% of the total spending for your group of member downlines can be paid to you.

Note: Commission will only be paid out to active members (those who have topped up). All TDTone members are responsible to ensure that their monthly reloads have been done to be eligible for overriding bonuses.

Otelo Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Otelo) was incorporated in 1997. We are a leading provider of discounted calls services, broadband IP calls services, IDD calling cards and innovative solutions redefining how communications services are consumed. In 2006, we received venture capital funding via our holding company, Primarak Holdings Sdn Bhd.

The investment comes from Photonics Venture Capital (a venture capital management company appointed by the Malaysian Venture Capital Management Bhd (“MavCap”) in December 2006). MavCap is the venture capital investment arm of the Finance Ministry (Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia).


In a global world, whereby profit margins are dwindling due to intense competitions, optimization of expenses is very important. It has a direct impact on the bottom line of every company. DATO’ HJ AYOB BIN HAJI IDRIS, Chairman
For 33 years, Dato’ HJ Ayob has held various senior government posts. He was the Former Finance & Administrative Head of the Ministry of Rural Development. Now retired, his last posting was in Penang as the Director of JPJ (Dept of Road Transport, Transport Ministry) and Director of ICU (Implementation and Coordination Unit for Bumiputera Penang) in the Prime Minister’s Department

KIT LIM, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Founder and visionary for the company, he began his career with DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. (then Mutiara Telecom) in 1995. When he left DiGi in 2000, he was the Senior Manager of International Carrier Services responsible for business strategy, sales and marketing of DiGi’s International Business. He then joined as its Marketing Director of Bandwidth Asia Ltd. Hong Kong, which was financially supported by Prudential Asset Management Asia. In 2002, Kit Lim was seconded by Unified Communications Holdings Limited, a company listed on the main-board SGX in Singapore, to head its operations and technical division. In 2004, Kit Lim acquired equity in then Nastech Security Sdn. Bhd., and transformed it into what Otelo Telecom is now. Kit Lim graduated with a Master of Science degree in Computing Science, majoring in Telecommunications, and Bachelor of Science in Computing specialization in Business Studies, from University of Alberta, Canada.

James obtained his Bachelor ’s Degree in Accounting and Computer Science from The Australian National University, Australia. James started his career as a business analyst in 1990 with Dun & Bradstreet. Over a 10-year period in Dun & Bradstreet, he held various positions, where he was responsible for sales, business development and management. James is also a member of the Australian Society Certified Practicing Accountant in Australia. James joined Otelo Telecommunications Sdn Bhd in 2006 as the General Manager of Sales & Marketing

Daryl comes with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience in various industries.
